I'm Nick. Welcome to The College Lad.
For over 10 years now, we've been leading test prep and writing coaching across the country (and beyond) from our base in sunny Southern California.
We created the "The College Lad Method" textbooks for SAT and ACT, plus guides on how to write college admissions essays (or any essay really).
We set out to find a way to get reliable results in standardized test prep and personal statements. Our techniques are straightforward and effective, geared towards students looking to score over 1500 on SAT or 34 on ACT.
Year in and year out, our students earn admission to every Ivy League school, Stanford, MIT, Georgetown (my alma mater), Duke, Northwestern, and other top-ranked schools.

While I had been able to do well on the math side of SAT, I was having a harder time with verbal until I started working with Nick. We did several in-person and online lessons where he showed me some extremely helpful strategies that helped the questions make a lot more sense.
